Hub Charter · Version 1.2
Hubs keep their names, their work, and their credit. Global exists to support hubs. It does not rename them, rebrand their work, or rank them by naming style.
The central site is wayglobal.org. A Waymaker is aged 18 or over and belongs to one hub. A hub requires 21 members. A Junior Hub is the unit for members under 18. Five active hubs in one country open a Country Hub. Until then, a hub is Individual and reports to Global. Founding membership is limited to 21 people, who approve changes to the rules. Each names one nominee.
The name, the work, and the credit belong to the hub. Public attribution is Hub Name · WAY. There is no public shaming. Other hubs are treated as guests. Money does not buy a vote. Junior members are not a lower class. Founders do not manage daily operations.
All hubs are one class. A city name, a subject name, or another name has the same standing, the same league, and the same path upward. Names must be globally unique. A home country is required. Tags are for search, not rank.
Voting in a Hub, Country Hub, or Global requires age 18 or over. There is no upper age limit. Members under 18 join a Junior Hub, with their own executive.
Founding Members may amend any rule. They do not manage ordinary work. The Executive Committee runs operations. Major and rule changes need a written majority of occupied Founding seats within 21 days. Silence is not consent. A single founder cannot change the Charter.
Each Founding Member names one nominee, aged 18 or over, in writing to Central. On death or incapacity, that person takes the same seat. It is not a 22nd seat. There is no vote before activation. The Executive cannot create new Founding seats.
Country Hub, Hub, and Junior Hub each elect an Executive Committee. Global uses the same structure. The Executive is elected and pays a nomination fee. People appointed for Act, Learn, and Connect serve as a duty, not as a separate office.
With a Country Hub: 2:1:1 — 50% Hub, 25% Country, 25% Global. Without a Country Hub: 1:1 — 50% Hub, 50% Global. The ratio does not change without Founding approval.
Central awards points. Point values may be adjusted by the Executive. The rules against false proof and purchased points are part of the Charter.
